The buffet offered a varied spread for dinner, with plenty of desserts to satisfy a sweet tooth, and the option for a picnic-style lunch was a pleasant surprise. My room was basic but clean, providing enough comfort for a good night’s sleep after a long day on the slopes.
The noise levels were pretty disruptive, especially from the bar on the ground floor, making it hard to catch a decent night's sleep. My bathroom had a noticeable sewage smell after showers, and temperature control felt wonky, leaving the room too hot even with the radiators off. The storage for ski gear was cramped, with lockers located in a tight area, and drying boots was a hassle without heated space. Wi-Fi was only working in the lobby, which is a letdown for anyone needing reliable internet access. while there were a few vegetarian options, they were limited, making dining a bit tricky for those with dietary restrictions.

The Catalunya hotel impressed with its quick access to the slopes, just a two-minute walk away. Check-in was smooth, making my arrival hassle-free. Breakfast options blended both sweet and savory, providing a great start to the day with a good variety to choose from. Room service kept the place clean, with daily cleaning and a change of towels during my stay. the room felt cramped, lacking sufficient space to move around comfortably. The bathroom door needed some attention—it was quite worn and didn’t function properly. A strong disinfectant smell lingered in the room, making it slightly unpleasant. the ski locker area felt tight, complicating the process of fitting in all my gear and making it difficult to dry my wet boots. Despite these drawbacks, the overall vibe of the hotel, particularly the friendly staff, contributed positively to my experience.

Refurbished hotel spaces, good access to local attractions, lockers for ski gear
The thin walls meant I could hear everything from neighboring rooms!!! The bathroom light switch often malfunctioned, creating unnecessary hassle!!! Room temperature control issues made it uncomfortable to settle in!!! Parking options were severely lacking!!!

Great access but thin walls
The staff were incredibly friendly, and I loved the lively atmosphere at the bar. the proximity to the slopes made early morning skiing a breeze.
The noise from the bar was disruptive at night, and the thin walls meant I could hear every conversation in the hallway. It was hard to get a good night's sleep.

Opt for a high floor room to minimize noise and enjoy a better view!

the so-called "ski lockers" were frightneningly tight, making boot drying a mere dream. in addition, I expected a little compensation for my discomfort—like, I don't know, a room upgrade perhaps? I almost thought of giving a good review, but the dodgy bathroom light switch ruined that.

I had an amazing trip with friends at a cozy hotel close to the slopes. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were super friendly, especially the receptionist who helped us with everything. We loved skiing and snowboarding during the day, and the vibe in the local pubs added to the fun after hours. Definitely check out the free ski lockers and enjoy the warmth inside the hotel!
One downside was the limited WiFi access. it only worked in the small lobby and restaurant area.
